The Circuito Chico, or “Small Circuit” is a journey to enjoy and
savor. The landscape’s beauty is always present. Unique spots along
the route, and a handful of truly spectacular lookout points like
Lopez Bay and the Panoramic Point, are ideal places to contemplate
the wonders of nature.
The chairlift
at Campanario Mountain, located amidst the landscape (km 17) takes
you to “the height of amazement” for the most outstanding view
of the area. Back along the Circuito Chico trail, you’ll see tea
houses and restaurants offering up tasty treats and palate-pleasing
delights.
In front of Puerto Pañuelo, the Llao Llao
Hotel and the San Eduardo Chapel are truly one of a kind, as is
the traditional settlement at Colonia Suiza (Swiss Colony).
But Circuito Chico offers more than just landscape;
hand-woven textiles, candles, and many other kinds of handicrafts
are a key element on your discovery. As well, the gentle trails
of the Llao Llao Municipal Park offer chances for delightful walks
through the forests.
