Bariloche is an ideal place for trekking since the surrounding mountains
offer incredible natural scenery and a well-developed series of
connected mountain huts, or refugios. The trails linking the huts
provide many options for circuits that can be adjusted to meet your
fitness level, trekking experience, and energy.
It’s not all roughing it! Gourmet meets the trail on these treks,
as we combine our hiking with food and wine tastings in fabulous
settings. It’s all in the hands of professional guides who share
the many secrets and gifts of these spectacular mountains.
Adventure + WINE.
It’s a new idea that’s perfect for Patagonia – combining adventure
with the fabulous world of wine. The adventure activities (trekking,
rappelling and climbing) take place in unique Patagonian settings
(the Andes or the Steppe). From panoramic lookouts with a historic
and naturally rugged location we set up our tasting table, tailored
to each occasion.

A Huts
Otto Meiling (Mt. Tronador), San Martín
(Laguna Jakob), E. Frey (Catedral Mountain), Italia (Laguna Negra)
and López (Mt. López).
The most accessible trails in the
Southern Andes take us to exceptional areas where the landscape
propelled mountaineering pioneers to build charming and rugged
alpine huts. Each has a distinctive style, a natural influence
and a panoramic view – which will become your favorite?
Steppe+WINE
We head into one of the truly magical areas of Patagonia – the
Steppe, where endless horizons are only broken by rocks molded
by the wind into wild shapes that surely will spark your imagination.
Here, condors thrive and we will get a chance to enjoy them in
their splendor. Atop a high lookout, a choice selection of wines
awaits, along with a full meal. Afterwards, we stop by a high
wall for some rappelling before heading back into Bariloche.
