The views of Mt. Tronador offers a wide variety of landscapes, and is a unique experience deep in nature.

The imposing Mt. Tronador, at 3,478 meters, is located 90 km from the centre of Bariloche.

The trip to get to the base of Tronador takes in spectacular landscapes of lakes, forests, mountains and waterfalls.

After following the shores of Gutierrez and Mascardi lakes, the road winds deeper into the mountains, over the Manso River bridge. The vegetation becomes leafier. There’s a “can’t-miss” viewpoint where we will take in the lookout over Mascardi Lake.

The trip then continues on to Pampa Linda or “pretty meadow”. Here, a traditional restaurant offers gastronomic delights. A bit further on, we’ll see the famous glacier of Ventisquero Negro, or “Black Snowdrift”. The route ends at the base of Tronador, where we will enjoy spectacular views and have a chance for some walking.
